The knit is tightly woven (not loose or baggy) it is a crisp (fall layering weight) good for the office or an evening at dinner. This is not meant to keep you warm at night in temperatures below 60 degrees, you will need a coat. It is a very versatile and classy sweater. I can't wait to wear it out. Size up if you don't like fitted sweaters.
